Betsy A. Bancroft, Ph.D.
I am a Professor of Biology and Environmental Studies at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA. I earned my Ph.D. from Oregon State University with Andy Blaustein and was a post doc in Josh Lawler's lab at the University of Washington. After several years at Southern Utah University, I joined the faculty at Gonzaga. I am interested in all aspects of environmental stress and freshwater ecology, particularly from a multiple stressor perspective.
Summer 2023
This summer a team of nine undergraduate students are working in the Bancroft Lab. We've had a busy summer conducting field surveys at Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge and experimentally testing the effects of climate change on salamander larvae.
